Mrs. Bose Ayeni holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Language Arts from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) having graduated in 1979 and an MBA from Pan African University in 2005. She joined Lever Brothers Nigeria Limited in 1980 as Management Trainee and left in 1991 as Product Group Manager to run Senkay Nigeria Limited. She started Tantalizers Limited in 1997 and successfully turned it from a one outlet eatery to what it is today. She was a joint recipient of the FATE Foundation Model Entrepreneur Award 2005. She is a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, and Managing Director/Chief Executive of Tantalizers PLC
Deputy Managing Director
Mr. Gbolahan Edward Labinjo is an experienced QSR expert. He joined Tantalizers Plc on March 3, 2014, as the Deputy Managing Director. Gbolahan has a BSc. in Finance from Southern Illinois University and an MBA, with specialization in Contract & International Management. He started his career at Merrill Lynch in 1983 and was assigned to the Pepsi QSR acquisition team from where he joined Pizza Hut where he rose to become an Area Manager. He joined Burger King and led teams to complete market turnaround for 10 years. Gbolahan then worked at Popeye’s Chicken as an Operator, acquiring 2 restaurants and developing 9 additional restaurants as a Franchise Operator. Gbolahan also worked for Denny's as Franchise business leader for 5 years. He joined UAC Restaurants as GM Franchise & National Operations Manager in February 2011 and was part of the turnaround of the Brand. He was the Managing Director of Special Brand, the largest Operator of Mr. Bigg's Franchise Restaurants, from June 2013 to February 2014
Executive Director, Finance
Mr. Dele Oke is the head of the finance accounting and IT functions. He graduated in Accounting from the University of Lagos, Akoka in 1984, became an Associate of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ACA) in 1989, and a Fellow of The Institute (FCA) in 2000. He obtained an MBA in 2001 from Ondo State University, Akungba. He joined National Electric Power Authority (NEPA) as an Internal Auditor in 1986, Smithkline Beecham PLC as Senior Management Accountant in 1992. In 1994, he left Smithkline for Capital Services Ltd (a subsidiary of Negris Ltd) an Oil Services Company as Head of Finance. He was appointed as Divisional Accountant (Technical) of SGS Nig. Ltd – another Oil Services Company in 1998. In 2000, he moved to Nigerian Bottling Company PLC and held various positions including Finance Manager, Ilorin Plant, Jos, Ikeja, Agidingbi, Lagos and Head Office, Lagos. He joined Tantalizers Ltd as General Manager, Finance in 2006. He was appointed Executive Director, Finance in 2008 and his portfolio was enlarged to include Information technology in 2015.
General Manager, Operations
Mr. Segun Ekundayo is charged with the responsibility of running all the corporate outlets. He graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in Food Sciences & Technology in 1992. He was appointed Asst. Brewer for Cellars operations with Dubic Breweries Ltd in 1993. He moved to Venus Processing and Packaging Ltd as a Production Supervisor in 1994 and in the same year joined Columbia Int. Ltd as a Production Supervisor with responsibilities for Industrial / Table salt production. In 1996, he moved to Family Foods Limited as Bakery Supervisor from where he joined Tantalizers Plc. as the pioneer Unit Manager with responsibilities for Products handling, Outlet Aesthetics, Customer Service / Satisfaction, etc in 1997. In 1999, he was promoted to Senior Manager, Operations with responsibilities for four outlets and in 2001 he became the Asst. General Manager, Operations with responsibilities for developing the Northern market starting with Abuja, the FCT. He was promoted to the position of Deputy General Manager, Operations in 2004, and General Manager in 2008. His portfolio as General Manager was enlarged in 2015 to include Supply Chain, TOS and the Bakery.
General Manager, Marketing and Franchise
Mr. Henry Arebun graduated from Bendel State University (now Ambrose Alli University), Ekpoma in 1987, with B.Sc honours in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Ibadan in 1990. He obtained an MBA from the University of Lagos in 1999. He Joined Jecon Lamps, Agbara as a Laboratory Chemist from where he moved to Guinness Nig. PLC as Management Trainee, Production in 1991. He was appointed Shift Brewer in the Ikeja Brewery of Guinness Nig PLC in 1992. In 1996 he joined Johnson Wax Nig. Ltd as Production Superintendent from where he moved to Xerox H. S. Nig. Ltd as Account Executive that same year. In 1997, he was appointed Marketing Analyst, Paper, Consumables & Office Supplies with Xerox H. S. Nigeria Ltd. and later became the Marketing Coordinator. He joined Tantalizers Plc in 2001 and has held various positions like Brand Manager, Business Development Manager, Senior Brand Manager, and Marketing Manager. He was promoted Assistant General Manager, Marketing, in 2006, Deputy General Manager, Marketing, in 2009 and General Manager, Business Strategy and Development in 2011. He became General Manager, Marketing and Franchise in July 2015.
General Manager, Finance
Mr. Alfred Eburu resumed at Tantalizers Plc in August 7th, 2017 as the General Manager, Finance. He graduated from the University of Maiduguri, Maiduguri in Accounting in 1988 and became an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ACA) in 1997, and a fellow of the Institute (FCA) in 2017. He started his working career with Delta Steel Company Ltd as Cost Accountant in 1990. He joined Beta Glass Plc in 1993 and held various positions including Cost Accountant, Management Accountant, Financial Accountant and Chief Accountant in both Ughelli and Agbara palnts of the company. In 2006, he moved to TSG Nig. Ltd., Ibadan as the Finance Manager. He was with Chair Centre Ltd as Finance Manager (2016 -2016) from where he left for Nigerian Economic Summit Group Limited (NESG) as the Head of Finance and Administration, (2018-2011). He thereafter worked for the Institute of Environmental Accountant as Head of Finance and Administration (2012 – 2017).
Company Secretary / Legal Adviser
Mrs. Dambo has responsibility for ensuring compliance with Legal and Statutory regulations by the Company and its principal officers. As the Company Secretary / Legal Adviser, she also gives general support by way of legal advisory for all business units to ensure the attainment of companywide objectives. She obtained an LL.B (Hons) from Ahmadu Bello University in 1986 and graduated from the Nigerian Law School in 1987. She acquired a Masters degree in International Law and Diplomacy in 2005. She has wide ranging post-call experience cutting across Legal practice, Finance and Manufacturing sectors of the Nigerian Economy in companies like Nabisco Plc, Corporate Trust Limited and Dambo & Company (Nimibio Chambers). She was appointed Company Secretary / Legal Adviser to Tantalizers Plc in April, 2011 and Company Secretary / Head, Legal and Real Estate in 2015.
Head, Quality, Environment, Health & Safety
Folawe Adewakun is the Head of Quality, Environment, Health and Safety of Tantalizers Plc. She holds a Bachelor and Masters of Science degree (Microbiology) and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) all from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She worked with Lever Brothers (now UNILEVER) as microbiologist where she was saddled with the responsibilities of setting up the microbiology lab and in 1999 she became Head of Quality Assurance department. Folawe also had a fruitful stint with Jagal Pharma between 2001 and 2003 as Head of the Quality Department. Folawe joined Tantalizers Plc in 2003 as Quality Assurance Manager, where she steadily rose to become an Assistant General Manager in 2008. In pursuant of world-class standards, her designation was changed in 2009, from Quality Assurance Manager to Head - Quality, Environment, Health and Safety (H-QEHS) in 2011. She became Head – Brand Standards and Training in 2015.
